Photovoltaic Modules
Photovoltaic modules are divided into crystalline silicon cell photovoltaic modules and thin-film cell photovoltaic modules. China is currently the world's largest producer and exporter of crystalline silicon cell photovoltaic modules, and has strong competitive advantages in both technology and cost. Crystalline silicon cell photovoltaic modules are divided into P-type cell photovoltaic modules and N-type cell photovoltaic modules. The photoelectric conversion efficiency of crystalline silicon cell photovoltaic modules continues to increase at a rate of 0.5% to 1% per year, and the cost continues to decline.
Thin-film cell photovoltaic modules are currently dominated by cadmium telluride (CdTe) and copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) photovoltaic modules. Since the photoelectric conversion efficiency of thin-film cell photovoltaic modules is currently lower than that of crystalline silicon cell photovoltaic modules, and the cost is also higher than that of crystalline silicon cell photovoltaic modules, thin-film cell photovoltaic modules are mostly used in building photovoltaic integration application scenarios.
