Distributed photovoltaic power generation refers specifically to photovoltaic power generation facilities that are built near the user's site, and the operation mode is characterized by self-generation and self-use on the user side, excess electricity being connected to the grid, and balanced regulation in the distribution system. Distributed photovoltaic power generation uses photovoltaic modules to directly convert solar energy into electrical energy. It is a new type of power generation and comprehensive energy utilization method with broad development prospects. It advocates the principles of nearby power generation, nearby grid connection, nearby conversion, and nearby use. It can not only effectively increase the power generation of photovoltaic power stations of the same scale, but also effectively solve the problem of power loss in boosting and long-distance transportation.
A household photovoltaic power generation system is mainly composed of photovoltaic modules, inverters, brackets, cables and other components. According to my understanding, the current reasonable construction cost of household photovoltaic power generation systems is about 5-10 yuan/watt, of which photovoltaic modules account for a larger cost, almost half; inverters can account for 5%-8%. Compared with previous years, overall, it is indeed cheaper.
From the developed experience, the photovoltaic industry has its own development characteristics, and its trend is generally from centralized to distributed development, which is determined by the characteristics of photovoltaics.
Ground-based power stations are mainly driven by the leader plan, and their installed capacity is relatively limited. Distributed photovoltaics are suitable for installation on the roofs of public buildings such as industrial parks, economic development zones, large industrial and mining enterprises, and shopping malls, schools, and hospitals. Their advantages are that they are close to the user side and low cost. In addition, rooftop photovoltaics can play a heat insulation role, which can save electricity and generate electricity, killing two birds with one stone. It is estimated that China's distributed photovoltaic market will have the capacity to generate 6 trillion kWh of electricity in the future. Driven by a series of factors, more new installations in the future will rely on distributed photovoltaics.
For a long time, the rapid growth of the scale of new energy power stations in the west and the insufficient cross-regional power transmission capacity in my country have been a significant contradiction. For photovoltaic power stations, the Energy Bureau has clarified the development focus in advance, limited the quota of power stations in the west, and guided the industry to distributed. At the same time, distributed power generation is close to the power load and conforms to the development direction of intelligent distribution and power consumption. It will become an important direction for the development of domestic photovoltaics in the future.
