Identify the roof: First of all, you need to have a very intuitive judgment on the roof, that is, to identify the type of roof, whether it is a flat roof or a pitched roof, or a metal roof, or the composition of the roof, whether it is concrete, ceramic tiles, pottery tiles or exposed whole materials.
Determine the construction conditions of the roof:
1. Utilization area: First determine how much usable area the roof has, because the usable area directly determines the installed capacity of the photovoltaic system. Secondly, the orientation of the roof. The roof is better to face south, because in the northern hemisphere, the power generation is higher when facing south, and it is most ideal to receive solar radiation. It can also be slightly biased to the east or west, generally within a few degrees or about 10 degrees, and the power generation loss can be controlled within 1% and is acceptable.
2. Shading: Shading is very critical to the solar power generation system. Shading includes building shading, and whether there are tall trees around the building that affect lighting.
3. Waterproofing: The waterproofing conditions of the roof are to see whether the roof has a very good waterproof layer. If the building does not have a good waterproof system, the roof may not meet the use function within its life cycle.
4. The type and anti-corrosion are the basic requirements for the roof: the type of metal roof must be judged first, and the anti-corrosion is to pay attention to the anti-corrosion effect of the metal roof's anti-corrosion paint.
5. Load-bearing: The photovoltaic system must be built on the roof. If the roof's bearing capacity cannot meet the photovoltaic construction, the project will not be established.
The safety of the photovoltaic system itself and the building safety, including fire protection, lightning protection and maintenance channels, must ensure that all contact points are effectively protected. Lightning protection must be integrated with building lightning protection, and the maintenance channel is for safety during maintenance, and must be reserved.
