Qin bricks and Han tiles have a long history. They are not only the basic materials for building livable houses, but also an important part of Chinese cultural elements. Recently, modern "Han tiles" based on a new generation of flexible copper indium gallium selenide thin-film photovoltaic cell modules have been gradually put on the market.
"Han tiles" not only retain the shape characteristics of traditional roof tiles, inherit and carry forward the characteristics of traditional Chinese architectural style and Chinese cultural elements, but are more durable, and realize photovoltaic power generation throughout the entire life cycle of the building, improve the energy conservation and ecological environment protection level of the whole society, and promote the harmonious coexistence of man and nature. The single-glass three-curve "Han tile" can effectively cover a roof of 0.33 square meters, with a thickness of only 6.5 mm and a self-weight of about 5.2 kg. A piece of paper can withstand 1.7 tons and can withstand a 12-level typhoon. The conversion efficiency of photovoltaic modules is not less than 16.5%. In the Beijing area, if modern "Han tiles" are used on a roof of 100 square meters, 12,000 kWh of electricity can be generated each year, which can save nearly 1.5 tons of standard coal according to the equivalent value.
The successful launch of the modern "Han Tile" has explored a feasible path for the traditional building materials industry to adhere to innovation-driven development, integrate modern technology, promote the development of component-based building materials and green building materials, and achieve transformation and upgrading.
